Our goal is to reach 100% renewable energy
Achieve our emission reduction goals by ensuring that renewable energy becomes the primary source of our electricity consumption.
Reach our SBTi target by 2030
We will actively support our Group in reaching its SBTi target by 2030, contributing to a 42% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions and a 25% reduction in absolute Scope 3 emissions compared to the 2022 baseline.

We will prepare a comprehensive program to enable us to reduce greenhouse gases emissions with primary focus on increasing purchases of clean and low emission-intensive energies. We will also invest in energy efficiency equipment such as technology modernization, power supply, and cooling.

We are committed to ensuring that all decommissioned network equipment and other network waste is either reused or recycled, preventing any of it from ending up in landfill or being incinerated.

In 2025, CETIN Bulgaria sourced approximately 64.1 GWh of renewable electricity under its 10‑year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Electrohold, Bulgaria’s leading renewable energy trader, significantly contributing to the company’s renewable electricity supply.

We have strengthened our ESG data framework by systematically capturing data across all material emission sources, significantly improving the robustness of our Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG inventories. Building on these insights, we are actively rolling out targeted decarbonization measures to reduce emissions across our operations and value chain.

Sourcing of renewable energy from September 2023 enabled by PPA with Eelctrohod allowed us to save approximately 11.210 CO2 t in 2023.

In 2025, our energy efficiency program continued to deliver tangible results, increasing cumulative electricity savings to 9.72 GWh, while continuously identifying additional improvement opportunities through the deployment of more energy‑efficient equipment and upgraded technologies.

We have established clear guidance to prioritize the reuse of dismantled equipment, ensuring that reuse is always the first option, with resale or recycling applied only where no secondary use is feasible. As a result of this approach, in 2025, 100% of decommissioned equipment was either reused or recycled.
